E-Bikes & Bikes Customised to You
Free bike from sixthreezero? Too good to be true, right? Well, listen up because there's a couple of ways you can get one.
We offer free bike giveaways throughout the year. I can't tell you exactly when they'll happen, because it's up to the promotion team. However, one thing I'd suggest is to subscribe to our newsletter. You can sign up for our mailing list via YouTube or through our company website. If you're on our website look at the bottom, there's a link and opt-in form to enter your email. Don't miss your chance. We do giveaways, contests, and promos for all our followers. If you enroll, you can enter for a chance to win a free bike from sixthreezero.
Also, we give away free bikes to social media influencers. If you have a big social media following through a blog, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, you name it. Shoot me an email at dusting@sixthreezero.com. I'm happy to listen to you and see if there might be an opportunity where we could give you a free bike. Of course, this would be in exchange for a promotion that would be beneficial to both of us. Other than that, if you send us some cool photos or fan art we're open to considering all possibilities. So, don't hesitate to reach out and ask us for a free bike.
If someone's offering you a free bike I would make sure number one that bikes not a lemon. If you're looking for a bike and someone says, "Oh, you can have my bike." Question one is, why are they giving away this bike? You don't want to be stuck with a money pit and then you're faced with having to throw it out or get rid of it, right?
If it's a contest or a giveaway make sure you don't have to provide your credit card information. Make sure under no circumstances there's any financial commitment on your part. Or a situation where it's a free bike today and then payments start three months later. It seems to be a popular thing for people to give away bikes and sweepstakes and certain times of the year. I've seen a lot of beach-oriented bars and restaurants do free bike giveaways. These make them good places to be on the lookout for.
I have a couple of stories, where we've given away a lot of free bikes for various reasons. Actually, there's a funny story that comes to mind about sixthreezero from a couple years ago. We did a free by giveaway at Christmas in one of our stores and we were hoping to get a huge promotion. We announced to come to our store at Christmas and only one person showed up. For the sake of making it look official, we pulled one name out of a hat and it was that one person. Regardless we were happy to give away the bike. It was still fun to see their excitement as they rode around.
We've also had free bike giveaway situations where, unfortunately, some bikes get stolen. Another recommendation out there is please take down your serial number. It's on the bottom underside of the bike under the pedal area. Usually, it's stamped into the metal of the "crankset". Which is located underneath the bottom bracket of the frame. Take that number, and register it with the city if you can. It's going to be the only way you can locate a stolen bike if it happens.
We want to make sure we keep people riding. In the past, a few customers have reached out that bikes had been stolen. Of course, we agreed to give them free bikes because they've been loyal riders to us. That's something that we like to do. Especially if it's an unfortunate circumstance, which happens all too often. We've also given away some free bikes to military personnel and veterans. I'm happy to continue doing that, so feel free to outreach to us. If you have a great story or you find a need for a bike to better your life. Send us an email and we'd be happy to consider you for a free bike.
