Big & Tall Guys Must See this EBike! Semi Recumbent Electric Bike is Perfect for Heavy & Tall Men

All right, so now before we get into showing you our first-time experience of the Relaxed Body E-bike. I just wanna walk you through a few things on this electric bike. It's a semi-recumbent e-bike with a very low step-over height and seat height. So it can accommodate riders 4'11” to 6'4”. We have some other sizing videos where you can see that. It has a 500-watt rear hub motor, and also a 10.4 amp hour battery. So top speeds, of 20 miles an hour just using the throttle and 22 miles an hour with pedal assist. In addition to that, riders are put in an upright, comfortable position. Front and rear disc brakes. This is a cool e-bike. You can check out some other videos on our page of rides, demonstrations, and of course, the fitting video. And you're about to see first-time rider experiences on the relaxed body. So here we go.

Dustin: All right, we're here with Peter. He's 5'7". And we're going to see how we can adjust the relaxed body perfectly to him. So let's go ahead. And what's your inseam and arm length?

Peter: 30 and 19.

Dustin: 30 19. Okay. Go ahead and sit down and see how that works. Too low?

Peter: No, I like it.

Dustin: Okay. How about the handlebars?

Peter: They're nice.

Dustin: Do you like it?

Peter: Yeah, kind of lifted.

Dustin: Okay. All right. So now you're a pro here. So... There you go. Now this is a thumb throttle like the other one and you have to put it into level one and give it a rip.

Peter: This one's fine. It's smooth.

Dustin: Yeah?

Peter: Yeah.

Dustin: How do you, the riding position, the comfort and stuff?

Peter: I like it.

Dustin: Yeah.

Peter: Just kind of comfortable and going fast at the same time. I like it.

Dustin: Cool. Well, we got a good fit for Peter at 5'7". Let's check out our 5'9 rider. All right we're here with Jason he's five foot nine and what's your inseam?

Jason: 30 and arm 21.

Dustin: Okay and go ahead and sit down. See, oh watch out for our microphone here. And how do you feel about that seat height and handlebars?

Jason: Feels good. Yeah.

Dustin: You like them up there?

Jason: Yeah okay yeah it works.

Dustin: And then you might want to just pull this. Just, there we go. Or let's just tuck that in your pocket right there. All right. Yeah. So just hold that button down, the power button right there.

Jason: Oh, there you go.

Dustin: Yep. All right. And you can go ahead and put it into level one. And it's a thumb throttle on this one, not a twist throttle. So go ahead and give it a rip.

Jason: All right. Let's check it out. Ha ha ha.

Dustin: What do you think?

Jason: It was good. This one goes fast.

Dustin: Yeah? And how's the comfort and the riding position?

Jason: Oh, the seat was very comfortable. I like the seat.

Dustin: Cool. All right, there we go. Jason at 5'9". Let's move up to our 5'10 rider. All right, I'm here with Travis, who's 5'10". And what was your inseam?

Travis: 29 inseam and 21 arms.

Dustin: All right. Go ahead and have a seat. See if that seat height's good for you.

Travis: A bit higher.

Dustin: Higher?

Travis: Yeah.

Dustin: Okay, let's move it up. Okay, check it out. Now, you're going to get good leg extension because the pedals are moved forward also, so... What about the handlebars? Do you want them down?

Travis: No, I think they're fine.

Dustin: Fine, okay. All right, so you're turned on here, put it in level one, and your thumb throttle is there, and you can pedal and go have a ride.

Travis: You're right. Okay. This is fun. Nice relaxing. This is the best one. Nice and simple, a regular bike. Oh, tried and true bicycle. I love it. I feel like at the beach, it'd be nice.

Dustin: How do you like the riding position?

Travis: That's great. It's very comfortable. I feel like my posture maintained a steady balance.

Dustin: Yeah.

Travis: Yeah.

Dustin: Cool. All right. There we go. Travis is 5'10". Let's move up to our 5'11 rider. All right. We got Kyle here who's 5'11". What was your inseam?

Kyle: 27 inches.

Dustin: And your arm?

Kyle: 22.

Dustin: All right go ahead and let's see. Maybe bring this. Well, go ahead and see how that feels then we could adjust it. Up, down?

Kyle: Maybe, maybe up just like an inch or so.

Dustin: Yep.

Kyle: All right.

Dustin: All right.

Kyle: Yeah, that feels good.

Dustin: Yep. And how about the handlebars? Do you like them? Do you want them down a little?

Kyle: Maybe just a touch. Yeah.

Dustin: Touch down.

Kyle: Yeah. Okay. All right. Awesome.

Dustin: So, yep. Everything's the same. You have to put it in level one. You can use the throttle. Enjoy the ride.

Kyle: Great. Thanks.

Dustin: And you can push the assist up if you want to go faster.

Kyle: Okay. Yeah, that's fun.

Dustin: Yeah? How do you feel about the riding position and the comfort and all that?

Kyle: I think it might be my favorite. Comfy ride. I like the big wheels. Uh, and, uh, just really fast.

Dustin: Cool. All right. Well, there you go. That's Kyle at five 11. Let's move up to our six-foot rider. All right. We got Braxton here. He's six feet tall, with 33-inch inseam and 24-inch arm lengths. Go ahead and hop on. Might need to raise the seat for you.

Braxton: Let's see. Hmm. Maybe not.

Dustin: I think up just a little bit.

Braxton: Yep.

Dustin: Let's try it.

Braxton: Sure.

Dustin: Give that a shot.

Braxton: All right. All right. Anything before I go? Are we good?

Dustin: You're good.

Braxton: All right. Have at it.

Dustin: You got to put it into level one at least, and you can go to two, three, four, whatever you want.

Braxton: Gotcha. All right. Well, let's see this you know. And this is what I'm used to, you know? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's just hard to practice on the bikes, you know?

Dustin: What do you think?

Braxton: Well, aside from being out of practice riding bikes, embarrassingly out of practice, uh, you know, I'm more used to this, but in comparison to like the trike products, I think I like those better.

Dustin: Really?

Braxton: Yeah. Um, but I mean, in terms of just…

Dustin: The stability?

Braxton: Oof those or, yeah, I don't know what it is. I think I like that first one the most with the oh the two front wheels. The two fronts and how they, they're they're not static you know what I mean?

Dustin: Yeah.

Braxton: Um, yeah, I, I, that one's sweet. I like it. Um, but in terms of this bike, uh, you know, it felt good. It felt comfortable. I like how I like how big the wheels are. I don't know if they're bigger than normal, but they just, feel that way at least, you know?

Dustin: Cool. Yeah. It's kind of a stretched-out feel too. I don't know if that's

Braxton: Yeah. Especially how you can step through on most bikes you can't you have to go legs up and over instead of stepping through the side to get on it so.

Dustin: Yeah.

Braxton: Yeah yeah.

Dustin: Cool all right well that's Braxton's ride on the relaxed body. Let's move up to our six-foot-one rider. All right, we got Mike here. He's six foot one with a…

Mike: 32-inch inseam, and 23-inch arms.

Dustin: All right, go ahead and hop on.

Mike: All right. I think I could g. Actually, this feels good.

Dustin: Handlebars okay?

Mike: The handlebars are good. Got a good extension on my leg.

Dustin: All right. So yeah, it's the, you know, put it in a level one. You can always move that up when you're going. If you want to go faster, there's your throttle, and have fun.

Mike: Thanks. Yeah, I like that.

Dustin: Yeah?

Mike: It's zippy.

Dustin: How do you like the riding position?

Mike: I like it.

Dustin: Because this is kind of designed for bigger guys to be able to have, like, the handlebars and good leg extension.

Mike: It feels like I can cruise on it, but also, like, I can just zip around and play on it and lean into the turn, and it's kind of sporty.

Dustin: Yeah?

Mike: Yeah.

Dustin: And the handlebars, things like, does it feel like your back's upright and nice and relaxed?

Mike: It can be, but then when I was around the turn, I was leaning into it. So I feel like you get the best of both. Yeah, yeah.

Dustin: Yeah. Cool. And it felt nimble and fast.

Mike: Nimble and fast. Yeah.

Dustin: Right on.

Mike: I like it. Yeah.

Dustin: All right, well, there you go, Mike, at 6'1". Let's move up to our final rider at 6'2". All right, we got Ryan here at 6'2", 33-inch inseam and 24-inch arms. Go ahead and have a seat. I think we got the seat up there high enough for you, but maybe not. We'll see.

Ryan: What do you think?

Dustin: Let's go like this. Put your foot on the pedal. Other pedal.

Ryan: Oh, my bad.

Dustin: No, you're good. Let's bring it up just a touch.

Ryan: Yeah.

Dustin: We'll see. All right. Handlebars feel okay?

Ryan: Yeah.

Dustin: All right. So you know what you're doing?

Ryan: Yes, sir. All right. And we're off. No, no. Oh, no.

Dustin: Kickstand.

Ryan: There you go. Oh, boy. Oh, this one's nice.

Dustin: What's that?

Ryan: I said this one's nice.

Dustin: Yeah. Well, we've designed it sort of for taller guys with the longer frame.

Ryan: This makes sense.

Dustin: And the handlebars, does it feel comfortable for you?

Ryan: Oh yeah. And it's just, it's easy to zip and all, but like, you know what I mean? Like all of them are easy, but this one, at least for me, It's really good. And I could just stop and then go and stop and, you know.

Dustin: Cool. It's nice. And leg extension things felt good for your height?

Ryan: Oh, easy, yes.

Dustin: Cool. There we go. Our last rider on the relaxed body.
