Can seniors get a loan to buy an electric trike? Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today we're gonna talk about whether seniors can get a loan to buy an electric trike. I've got two of our most popular e-trikes for seniors, our Simple Glide Fat Tire 750-watt and our Easy Transit 750-watt folding e-trike. So we get a lot of questions about not only getting loans to buy e-trikes but also grants. And also, will insurance cover the purchase of an electric tricycle? Our electric trikes are not medically approved, so they're not on a Medicare or medicaid list as something you can be reimbursed for. Now, we're looking into that, but it is very difficult to get that approval with these types of devices. So again, something we're looking into. Now, other organizations out there do offer grants or fund seniors. A local senior center could be a good place for you to reach out to and see if they offer programs in the community; they may buy transportation devices for specific seniors. But in terms of loans, there are ways to purchase e-trikes through credit. We offer something on our website called Affirm.
Which can offer you a pay over time plan, I believe up to about 18 months. There are also options through PayPal and Shop Pay are other options as well, will offer terms as well. Now, as far as getting a specific loan from a bank or a credit union to purchase an eTrike, I really can't speak to that, to be honest with you. That would be something you should check with your local branch on and see if it is something that they offer. Now, of course, you can use a credit card. For the Affirm payments, it will be, I believe you can get interest-free for a certain amount of time, depending on your credit score. I believe PayPal and Shop Pay, which we both offer, also offer something similar. But in terms of an actual loan, like a car loan that you would get to pay for a car, honestly, that's a great question, and I don't have the answer. Specifically, I would check with your local branch. And I have to believe that could be something more and more places are entertaining.
But like I said, a firm can offer zero interest. PayPal can for a certain amount of time. Also, the interest on those isn't high, especially if you have good credit. You can extend those payments out over, I think, up to 18 months. So any other questions at all? reach out to us, at theteam@sixthreezero.com. Also, we offer a 30-day test ride of your e-trike policy. If you don't love it in the first 30 days, send it back. No questions asked, no money out of your pocket. In addition to that, we're going to warranty everything for one year. If anything goes wrong in the first year, we'll take care of it, parts and labor. If you want to come out for a test ride, all of our e-trikes are here in beautiful San Clemente, California, at 1046 Calle Rocoto Unit K. Come on out, test ride all of our e-trikes before you purchase. And you can join our community. We have a Facebook group called Sixthreezero Pedalers. Join before you purchase to talk to existing riders to ensure you're making the right choice. Then when you have yours, post in a group, make friends, and finally download the app to track your rides and compete on the leaderboard. So thanks for sticking around, and don't forget, it's your journey or experience. Enjoy the ride.
