Can This 750 watt Electric Trike Get a BIG GUY Up Hill?!?! You Will Not Believe This 3 Wheel E Bike

An electric trike that can get you uphill. Stick around to see it. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today I'm going to show you an electric trike that can get you uphills like this one behind me. But before I get into it, hit that Subscribe button below. Stay in touch with us here at Sixthreezero. Be the first to know about all the new content we're putting out, giveaways we do, and of course, new product releases.

Right here I have the Sixthreezero EZ Transit foldable e-trike with a 750-watt front hub motor. This is powerful, and this can power riders up to 300 pounds uphills like this one behind me. I'm 225 pounds, and you're going to see firsthand how easily I can get up this hill. Now this has 10.4 amp hour batteries, so you can ride up to 50 miles. You're going to be able to hit speeds of up to 16 miles an hour. But the big motor, the key to it is going to help you get uphill.

Now, if you want to learn more about this EZ Transit, click the link in the description below for the product page. Also, we've got tons more videos on our YouTube channel. Check out the playlist for the Sixthreezero Easy Transit. We're going to show you how it folds, how you can fit it into a car, and in the full operation of everything.

Today, we're just going to demonstrate how easily I can as a 225-pound man get up this hill with this powerful foldable electric trike. Now, I've got pedal assist levels and I've got throttle. I'm going to go ahead and show you. You can come along and ride with me, and I'll walk you through step by step how I shift my pedal assist, and what I'm doing while we're climbing the hill. Okay, let's go ahead and get in position.

Okay, so when I climb up the hill, I'm going to walk you through the pedal assist levels I use, how I use the throttle, if at all. Then we also have seven speeds on this e-trike. So when you're climbing up big hills, it's really helpful to have gear one because it can be very simple to pedal. I'm going to start in gear seven, and I'll walk you through how I'm shifting, how I get up the hill, and you're just going to witness firsthand how easy it is for me as a 225-pound man. Then I can navigate my pedal assist up and down here should I need to.

All right, so let's go ahead and get started. I'm starting in pedal assist level three. Okay, there goes my motor. As we get up this hill, the incline is going to slowly get steeper and steeper. All right, so it's getting a little more difficult right now. I'm going to go ahead and downshift into gear four. Okay? Now I'm not exerting much effort still. I'm in pedal assist three, but I'm just moving kind of slow. I'm going to put it into gear three.

Now, this is very easy for me, but again, if you're kind of bored and you want to move a little faster, I'm going to go ahead and put it into five. Now I'm at five. You can see I started picking it up a little bit. Now the grade is increasing. Okay? Now as I put it in five, I'm going to upshift a little bit. So now I'm going to shift to level four because the motor's powering me so much. Now I'm back to level seven ... gear seven, sorry.

Okay, I came to a stop in the middle of the hill because I just want to show you how I can just use the throttle to get me going from a dead stop in the middle of the hill. I'm going to go ahead and just let go of my brakes, and I'm just going to go ahead and push my throttle. You can see how I can just start moving. No pedaling at all with my 750-watt motor.

All right, now I want to take you down the hill and just show you the braking too, and how we can control our speed on the downhill. Now, I'm not going to pedal at all as we go down here. I'm just going to keep my brakes engaged. Now in a tricycle, you don't necessarily need to, you can hit just the front brake if you want. The risk of tipping isn't like on a two-wheel bike, but if you can engage both brakes, that's much better. You can see the disc brakes control our speed nicely. I'm going about 12 miles an hour right now.

Okay, getting to the bottom, I'm going to speed up just a little bit just to show you how great the brakes work. I'm at 15 miles an hour, 16, and I can pull both brakes and come to a stop, no problem. Go ahead and turn around. I just want to take you back up the hill with me one more time where we just go all the way to the top straight through. Ready? All right, let's do it. I'm going to go ahead and start in pedal assist level two. I'm going to downshift a little bit and conserve some energy. Or do you want to just go ahead and fly through it? Let's just go ahead and fly through it. I'm going to put it into level five now, and we're cooking. In level five, I can be in gear seven. Again, I'm 225 pounds. We're taking on this hill. No problem. I'm barely exerting any effort. The motor's doing all the work for me. It feels good, I'll be honest.

All right, we're getting to the steepest part of the grade right here. I'm going about 13 miles an hour. Again, I'm in gear seven, so if I wanted to make this even easier, I could shift it into gear one. But the motor's giving me enough output where it's very little effort. And we're up. We'll go ahead and cruise to the end of the street here.

All right, so there you have it, an e-trike that can get you uphill. If you want to know more about it, again, check out the link in the description, the EZ Transit from Sixthreezero. In addition to that, we have a 30-day test ride to our e-trike policy. If you don't love it in 30 days, send it back, no questions asked, no money out of your pocket. In addition to that, we're going to warranty everything on the e-trike for a year. If anything goes wrong in the first year, we'll take care of parts and labor to ensure you can continue to ride.

Lastly, join our Facebook Pedalers group. There are thousands of riders. Ask them questions about the EZ Transit, and see how they like it. Then when you have your trike post in the group, make friends. It's tons of fun. Also, download our app, track your rides on the app, and compete on the leaderboard. That's fun as well. So thanks for sticking around, and don't forget, it's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride.
