I've got the Simple Glide 500-watt recumbent E-Trike. This, in my opinion, is the best electric trike for seniors. Number one, easy mounting and dismounting. Now, other recumbent trikes are sit-down and more laid down. Now, those are great, I think, for a specific type of rider, but if you are a senior or elderly rider, getting on and off of something extremely low to the ground may be really difficult. What I like about the Simple Glide is that you lift the armrest and you can sit down, and it's chair height, right? So getting up and off is easy. You don't want to have to be down here. And then obviously too hard, too high makes it difficult as well. So sitting down like this, and then from here you can shift your body over. And now you're on the pedals and riding, and at this point, you can put your armrest down and you are very secure and stable in here. Then when you're ready to get off, slide it over, and easily stand up. There is a throttle right here you twist. The cool part about this is that if you don't want to pedal, this can be your mobility device where you're utilizing the throttle to get around town without pedaling at all. Just like this. Now, the other really cool feature is that you have reverse. So when you talk about how this can double as a mobility device, you can go backwards and forwards. If you're somebody who already uses an electric scooter or some kind of mobility device, but you've wanted to get exercise for your legs, this is a great option because now when you decide to pedal, you can. But if you don't want to, you can utilize the throttle very easily.
Also, you've got the seat, which slides back and forth. So, depending on what position is best for you and what feels most comfortable, you can shift the seat and find the riding position that's right for you. Handlebars are easily adjustable with a simple quick release like that. And then you can find wherever it's right for your body. So I like it right about there. And then you simply click that down. I've got the brand new Fat Tire Easy Transit 750-watt foldable e-trike. One of our best-selling e-trikes, our Easy Transit foldable e-trike, is on our website. Also, now we're coming out with the Fat Tire version, which is a little bit better to handle off-road hardpack trails. Also, if you want something even more stable, now you've got 4-inch wide tires. These are still 16-inch tires, but 4 inches wide. You still have a relatively low step-through here. So the step over height at the lowest point is 14 inches. Now the seat in the lowest position is 30 and a half inches off the ground. And then you do have the quick release here as well, where you can bring this up. So to fold it, you just undo this quick release latch and then from there, you'll click this up. You can fold the frame in half.
All right, right here, I'm sitting on the Simple Glide Fat Tire 750 watt recumbent e-trike. This thing is powerful. It's a beast. It's a lot of fun. You can also see my office chair style seat here, which is really comfy. I can put my hands, my arms, and rest them while I steer, and we can also pedal. And if you want to take a break, put your feet up here. Like I said, a 750-watt rear mounted motor for good traction. 15 amp hour battery, so we've got an up to 50-mile range. The pedal assists in five levels, and a twist throttle here as well. The tires are actually 4 inches wide by 20 inches in the rear and a 16-inch by 4 inches in the front. So unbelievable stability and traction on this e-trike. All right, so this trail is pretty well packed, but there is some loose dirt and sand along the way. I can rest my elbows here. And actually, still steer the handlebars. So ultra comfortable positioning. I weigh 230 pounds, so you can get a sense of just how powerful this motor is. All right, I'll go ahead and just switch to throttle only as we go up this hill. Ooh, got some bumps, no problem. All right, now the coolest part. Want to take a little rest? Flip that down, and we're off and running. I'll tell you what, though, in terms of stability, I never worry about this trike.
