Electric Bikes w/ Step Through Height Lower than 12": The Lowest Step Thru EBikes Available

E-bikes with a stepover height lower than 16 inches. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today I'm gonna show you two e-bikes with a stepover height lower than 16 inches. I have the Simple step through 20 inch and 26 inch. These two e-bikes have the lowest step over heights of any electric bike that exists. Let's go ahead and use my tape measure. Okay. Right about there, up to the bottom of the silver piece. Now, the step over height of the Simple step through 26 inch is 10 and a half inches and the 20 inch is eight and a half inches. So while a 16-inch is a pretty low step over height, having it down to 10 and a half makes it so it truly is a step through height where I can literally walk through the frame and step over. This makes for mounting and dismounting simple and easy. I just clipped myself on the seat there. But, so if you're somebody looking for the absolute best, lowest step over height. These are them, if you found something lower, let me know. But I'm almost positive there's nothing lower than these two e-bikes.

The other cool thing is it's not just about the step over height, right? But it's also about this opening here. So you can easily get your body through there, right? And you can see here that the actual space you have to mount is 20 inches across and on the 20-inch is the same. So about 20 and a half inches. So makes the mounting and dismounting easy and simple. Both of these are 500 watts with a 10.4 amp hour battery. So you can achieve speeds of up to 20 miles an hour using either the pedal assist or a throttle. Has a throttle you can press if you don't want to pedal at all, to give your legs a little bit of a break, and the range really depends on how you use that electric. If you're using the throttle a lot, you'll drain the battery quicker. If you're using the pedal assist in lower levels, you're going to get more range.

The other thing I've seen, even with a 16-inch step over height, is oftentimes people can't get their toes over the bar, right? The nice thing here is that you can literally put your leg through, step through the frame, and easily get on and off, which makes for a very safe and low-stress mounting and dismounting process.
