How many miles should your e-bike last? Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today we're gonna answer the question, how many miles should your e-bike last? Let's answer our question, Now, I'm talking not about a single ride, I'm talking about their lifetime. How long should they last for? How many miles should you be able to get out of a singular e-bike? Now, this is gonna, that's why I say miles versus time. The length of your e-bike is truly going to depend on how many miles you ride it, also where it's kept, and things of that nature. For Sixthreezero and many other e-bike brands out there, it's common to see people who have logged 10,000 or more miles on their e-bikes and the e-bike is still going strong. So I would say, you know, 10,000 miles for some people could be a year, for other people could be 10 years, you know, 5 years. So it's hard to say an exact amount of time, but it's going to be thousands and thousands of miles that your e-bike should last. Now, the first thing that will probably go would be your battery, and after thousands and thousands of miles, the good news is that you can replace that battery, and if your motor is still working fine, you can get thousands and thousands of more miles out of your e-bike.

For the battery to conserve its lifetime, make sure you keep it in a temperature-controlled environment. You don't want it to be a place where it gets too cold or too hot. Something where it stays about the same temperature is ideal, and in terms of the maintenance of the e-bikes, you know, the motors are internal, the components of it are contained. Just ensure that you keep it in a nice, cool, dry place. In terms of the connections and the wiring, you just don't want water to get inside the cable connections could cause problems. For many of the connections, they are covered by coverings or they're inside of the bike, so you won't have to worry about those. But the short answer is you should get thousands and thousands of miles. Sixthreezero has many riders that have already done that, as I said, as have other brands. So you should more than likely have your e-bike for five, or ten years, if not longer, if you just have the battery go out, which you can replace to keep riding.
