Is This The Best Recumbent E Bike? A Unique Recumbent Electric Bicycle Unlike Any Other EBike

A recumbent e-bike is good for short and tall riders. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today I'm gonna show you a recumbent e-bike that's good for short and tall riders. All right, so right here we've got the Relaxed Body 500-watt e-bike from Sixthreezero. Just came out this year. This is a very unique electric bike. It is a recumbent, or you could call it a semi-recumbent, which is different than a lot of the e-bikes out there. Accommodate short riders and tall riders. It can accommodate riders from about 4'10", all the way up to riders about 6'5", and 6'6". And if you don't believe me, we've got other videos on our YouTube channel, and also on our website. We have a sizing video where we actually have some riders who are 6'4", riding this around. Now, the reason it's able to accommodate short and tall riders is that you can actually put this seat all the way down like so. Actually can go a little bit farther, but we have a longer seat post on here right now. And it brings the height of the seat down very, very low.

In fact, I'm gonna grab a tape measure and measure that for you really quick. Okay, so the seat in the lowest position can go down to 26 inches. We offer a shorter seat post so you can get this down another two inches, which would take this seat height to 26 inches, so it makes mounting and dismounting very easy. Now, for the shorter riders, that's really great, and you still can get the leg extension because you can see with the pedals moved forward, you know, about 12 inches from where they are typically on a bike, you're going to be pedaling out in front and still get that great leg extension. The other cool thing with these handlebars is that they can come closer to your body or farther away, so you can adjust them to accommodate the varying heights. Now, on the flip side of that, you can easily raise the seat and bring it all the way up here and now you can see the seat is up to 35 and a half inches. So that's a big difference.

That's about a 12-inch difference between the lowest point of the seat and the highest. And taller riders can pull these handlebars back to give themselves proper arm extension to make it comfortable. And you get all this pedaling distance here out in front, again, to make for a really comfortable ride. And if you want to see more footage, riding footage, we've got other videos of this e-bike on our website that you can check out as well. Now moving into the electronics of this e-bike, we've got a 500-watt rear hub motor and a 10.4 amp hour battery. So you're going to get to 20 miles an hour by just using the throttle. And yes, this has a throttle you can use if you don't want a pedal, or you can use one of the five levels of pedal assistance that you can easily change up here on the handlebars. Also has a seven-speed derailleur, which is what shifts the gears on this e-bike. So it's got regular gears like on a bicycle that you use in conjunction with the electrical assist. So that's really nice to have if you're climbing hills or you want to get up to higher top speeds. It's nice to have the higher seven-speed to go faster. You've got front and rear disc brakes, which stop very nicely and easily. Three-piece crank, oversized comfort saddle.

The battery is very easy to remove and take it with you indoors, should you want to charge it somewhere, bring it with you, or if you park outside somewhere and you don't want to leave your battery outside, bring it in with you so no one can take your e-bike with them. Other than that, that pretty much sums it up. It is a great electric bike for shorter riders and taller riders. We also have some videos of shorter riders who are about four feet 11 that fit nicely on here, and you can see how it works for them as well. Does has a little bit of a longer wheelbase. That's to create the recumbent style. Now I know some of you may be saying, oh, it's not a recumbent. We technically call it a semi-recumbent, but it has the same principle of a recumbent, which is then stretched-out frame, the lower seat, so you're pedaling more in front of your body than you are underneath your body. And with this setup, that's how it is. You are pedaling more out in front of your body versus underneath your body. So really unique ride, very comfortable, very different than a lot of the electric bikes out there.

So if you have any other questions at all about the relaxed body, please comment below or reach out to us at theteam@sixthreezero.com or call us at 310-982-2877. And we offer a 30-day test ride on your e-bike policy. If you don't love it in the first 30 days, send it back. No questions asked. No money out of your pocket. We're also going to warranty everything for up to one year. If anything goes wrong in the first year, we take care of its parts and labor. And lastly, join our Facebook group. We have a huge community of thousands of members in our Facebook group called Sixthreezero peddlers. Join there before you purchase and ask existing riders their thoughts on which e-bikes you're interested in, so you can ensure you make the right choice before you purchase. Then when you have yours, post in the group, make friends, and then download our app to track your rides and compete on the leaderboard. It's a lot of fun. So thanks for sticking around, and don't forget. It's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride.
