Over 60 Seniors Love This Electric Tricycle for 2 Passengers: You Must See Their Reactions!

An electric rickshaw that you can bring passengers and your friends along for a ride. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm joined by Phyllis, who's 67, and Constance, who's 81, and they are sitting on the EvryJourney Electric Rickshaw. All right, so today is the first time Phyllis and Constance have even ridden an electric tricycle. We've got some other videos on the channel with them if you want to check those out. But Constance fell in love with being on the back of the rickshaw here. Now, this is a 750-watt front hub motor. It can handle a capacity of up to 500 pounds. And you can see Constance is sitting comfortably back here. You can get up to three children. And we've also had two adults, depending on the height. Of the adults, it can get a little squishy back there, but it's been done before. Yeah. And we will show you how Phyllis can easily drive Constance around.

Dustin: Now, you've already taken a lap on it and told me when you have her on the back, how does it feel steering-wise and whatnot?

Phyllis: You know, honestly, I didn't notice any difference. It was yeah, it was smooth, steady, stable, and yeah, about the same.

Dustin: And how about the power, like the ease of getting it moving and stuff?

Phyllis: Super easy, and it's, yeah, it's powerful without being intimidating. You know, like, whoa!

Dustin: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And how do you feel back there? Do you feel safe and secure?

Constance: I feel safe and secure, and I love being, like, it's like being, you know, on a motorcycle, only it's an electric bike. It's very solid back here. I have a safety belt.

Dustin: You're all buckled in and ready.

Constance: Got my helmet.

Phyllis: She said, go faster, go faster last time. I was like what?

Dustin: Well I'm gonna ride it next to you and we'll take a lap around.

Phyllis: Okay.

Dustin: How is it getting on and off for you?

Constance: Oh, it was good but I did have to hold on to the seat.

Dustin: To pull up? Yeah? Okay, fair enough. And you've got storage actually in the back here underneath as well, so you can bring stuff with you, take along on your rides and you've got five levels of pedal assist. You've also got a throttle. So you don't have to pedal at all if you don't want to. And the four-inch wide tires make it very stable. So that's why you probably feel nice and secure back here. It is a lot of fun to ride. So I'm going to hop on my chariot here and I'm going to follow you as we make a lap around. So this time, do you want to go out in the street a little bit?

Phyllis: Oh, really? Do we dare, Constance?

Constance: Yeah, go for it. Oh, you're 65 miles an hour.

Phyllis: Okay, let's go for it.

Dustin: All right, ready when you are.

Phyllis: Ready.

Constance: Here we go.

Phyllis: I'm pedaling to…

Constance: Your shirt's blowing out.

Phyllis: Okay. Okay.

Constance: Are you pedaling? Oh yeah, you're pedaling.

Dustin: And you can shift it up if you want to get more power. Oh, did you turn the motor on?

Phyllis: Yes.

Dustin: Oh, okay.

Phyllis: Here we go.

Constance: Here we go.

Phyllis: Oh my gosh.

Dustin: Now you could open it up in the open road. You're not holding back on that throttle.

Phyllis: Oh my gosh.

Constance: This is terrific.

Phyllis: Are you having fun?

Dustin: Can you make a U-turn right here?

Phyllis: Yeah. Like right here?

Dustin: There you go we're back.

Constance: Okay let her rip. Wow. Yeah, take this easy.

Dustin: And then you can go to the right, we'll make a loop around.

Phyllis: You're not going to want to get off this, I can tell.

Constance: Oh my gosh, I like this bike, don't you? I feel 100% safe back here. Yeah.

Dustin: So, Constance, you don't seem to be concerned or worried or fearful at all.

Constance: I feel 100% confident.

Phyllis: She's like, go faster.

Dustin: That's awesome. Yeah, you were getting up to probably... Did you happen to see it on the... I think probably about 15 miles an hour, 16 miles an hour.

Phyllis: I'm glad I didn't.

Dustin: And the steering?

Phyllis: The steering was perfect.

Dustin: Yeah? Even when you got faster, it didn't bother you.

Phyllis: Never lost control. Never felt like I was losing control. Hugged the corners. You said I could have shifted. Would I push the plus and then just shift it up?

Dustin: Right here, your pedal assist is. So you could have put this higher.

Phyllis: Oh, that one.

Dustin: That's why I'm thinking you may. So the throttle, as long as this is in one or one or above, the throttle works full power. But when you were pedaling, I was thinking you may have wanted a little more assistance.

Phyllis: Oh, but what about this one?

Dustin: That's for the gears. Yeah, exactly. Exactly.

Phyllis: Like a regular bike.

Dustin: Exactly. Yep.

Phyllis: Cool.

Dustin: Exactly. Yeah.

Phyllis: So nice to have both options.

Dustin: Yeah. Well, especially on this because it's a heavy bike, you want the gears.

Phyllis: Right. Because it's like, I love how I feel like, you know, we're cruising along and yet then you know, my conscience kicks in and goes, you know, you need to exercise too.

Dustin: Yeah, true. That's cool. All right. Well, they love the ride. I know Constance is enjoying the ride back there. It's a fun way to get out, bring passengers loved ones, you know. Good for communities and things too. So hopefully we can get them off of here. I don't know if we can. But if you want to learn more about the Rickshaw, it's linked in the description below. And don't forget, we offer a 30-day test ride on your e-trike policy. If you don't love it in the first 30 days, send it back. No questions asked. No money out of your pocket. In addition to that, we warranty everything for one year. Take care of parts and labor if anything goes wrong. Lastly, be a part of our community, our Facebook group, sixthreezero Pedalers, and download our app. Connect with existing riders before you purchase so you can see about their experiences before you jump in. Then when you have your e-trike, post in the group, make friends, and also track your rides on the app, and compete on the leaderboard. It's a lot of fun. All right. Can we try this one more time? On the count of three. One, two, three. It's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride. All right.
