Recumbent E Trike Fits Through Doorway! Simple Glide 500 watt Electric Tricycle Can Go Indoors

Recumbent e-trike that'll fit through your doorway. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. And today I'm going to show you the Simple Glide 500-watt Recumbent e-trike and how it fits through a standard doorway. All right so right here I've got the simple glide 500-watt e-trike. Now, a standard doorway is about 32 inches. So that's what we've got here. 32, this is 32 and a half inches. Now in the back, the very outermost part of this wheelbase is 29 inches. So if you were to want to drive this indoors through doorways, it is possible. So I'm just going to demonstrate quickly here. Now, if we could have our camera person come over here. And shoot out this way, we can back it in. So if you want to shoot down here at the tires. All right. So let me back it in.

Okay, so now you can see. I'm going to leave it there in the doorway. You can see on either side, that we still have about... inch and a half of clearance or so on either side. And you can see here, like I said, if you measure the width here on the outside of the fenders, just actually about 28 and a half inches. And again, our doorway here is from here to here is 30 two and three-fourths inches. So like I said, it's about 28 and a half, so it could fit through a 30-inch doorway if you need to drive that indoors. And you can see we can pull it back and we're through and push it back through as well. And of course, now we're working on tight quarters here through our big doorway. And we're out.
