How to take a bike ride with your partner that has MS. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to show you how to take a bike with your partner who may have multiple sclerosis. All right, right here, I've got the EvryJourney E-bike Rickshaw from sixthreezero. You can see we've got this spacious back seat here on this e-trike, and this is an amazing way to take a partner, friend, or any other loved one on a ride with you if maybe they're battling multiple sclerosis. Now, we've had a lot of customers come to us, husbands, wives, partners, and also some people that have children that are battling MS, and that person is not able to ride a bicycle under their power anymore. But together they want to get out and ride, and so this is an amazing option. You can see, you can sit back here comfortably and we have lots of other videos if you want to see them on our YouTube channel where we put two adults back here, up to three kids back here. One adult can comfortably fit back here. There's a seatbelt here and you have these railings you can hold on to as well. Now, driving is also very simple and easy. We've done other videos where we demonstrate as well.
There's a 750-watt front hub motor. So if you want the bike to do most of the work, it can. No problem. There's a throttle you can press and you don't have to pedal at all or you can pedal and the bike will give you assistance. And this e-bike rickshaw can reach speeds of up to 20 miles an hour without passengers and about 15, to 16 if you have a passenger in the back. So it's a good fun, safe way again to get out and ride with someone that has multiple sclerosis that can't do it under their own power. We have some other videos on our YouTube channel showing a husband and a wife. They like to do RVing and his wife is battling MS. She rides on the back as well and they go for rides together and they've put a hitch on their RV that they take with them to locations. So again, easy to steer, and easy to ride. You'll also notice it has four-inch wide tires which keeps it very safe and very balanced so you don't have to worry about tipping. And even with the extra wide tires, it's still very easy to steer and you don't even notice a difference between with or without a passenger on the back. And a lot of times with the passenger on the back and the added weight it actually makes it feel more stable for some riders. Now it doesn't matter It'll be stable with or without, but the weight on the back does help to weight down the back end, but it doesn't affect the steering. It's still very nimble. And again, check out our YouTube channel to see additional videos of us riding all over. We've got lots and lots of videos of the rickshaw with passengers, uphills, flat ground, three kids, two adults, you name it. So a great way to still enjoy the outdoors with someone, again, who might be battling multiple sclerosis.
If you have any experiences or you have a loved one with MS and you have any thoughts or comments, please put them below. Love to hear your personal stories or how maybe you've used the rickshaw or another bike to take bike rides with someone with MS. Also, we offer a 30-day test ride on your e-bike policy. So if you don't love your e-bike in the first 30 days, you can send it back, no questions asked, no money out of your pocket. So if you want to give the rickshaw a shot and you don't love it, you can send it back in the first 30 days. In addition to that, we're going to warranty everything for one year. If anything goes wrong in the first year, we'll take care of it, parts and labor. Lastly, join our Facebook group, sixthreezeroPedalers. There are thousands of members in there. Talk to existing riders before you purchase yours so you can make sure that you're making the right decision. Then when you have yours, post in the group, and make friends. Lastly, download our app track your rides, and compete on the leaderboard. It's a lot of fun. So thanks for sticking around and don't forget, it's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride.
