One is going to give you the least amount of assistance. Five is going to give you the most amount of assistance. It has a twist throttle up here, which is really, really cool. You're just going to twist the throttle right here, pull it back, and that's how the bike is going to go, and if you don't want any throttle, keep your hands on the grip.
