All right, so here you have it. The best electric beach cruiser on the market, the Around the Block electric beach cruiser from sixthreezero. Now, obviously, my opinion's a little bit biased, but I'm going to explain to you why I believe this is the best electric beach cruiser. That's a tongue twister, my friend.
Our design philosophy, our roots come from beach cruisers, beach cruiser design. We are a California-based company, only two miles to the water. So when we came into the electric bike market and specifically the electric beach cruiser market, we wanted to keep things simple and keep them traditional and keep them they were back in the '50s when cruisers were really the hot bike on the market.
So you can see here, we've only got four of the colors we offer. We offer way more colors than this in the Around the Block men's, women's, gender neutral. We still say men's and women's here, but obviously, men or women can ride either frame. But I'll pull one out here and let's go through it. Why is it the best electric beach cruiser?
Okay, so let me explain why this is the best electric beach cruiser on the market. Number one, simplicity. We try to keep with the traditional frame design. This is a very traditional beach cruiser look, really reminiscent of the '50s and the original cruisers that were on the market. We've put the battery inside the rear rack, so most people at first glance aren't even going to notice that this is an electric bike. A lot of these bikes, you've got real big clunky batteries here, thicker frames. There was almost this thought when you designed a beach cruiser like a need to make ... Or an e-bike, to make it look like something big, bulky, and electric.
Our thought is the opposite. How do we keep it simple? How do we keep it traditional? How do we make it look like a cruiser? So we put the battery inside the rack. This rack is still very much usable. You can put stuff on here. 25-kilogram max. So you're not going to put tons of heavy items on here, but you can strap on some beach towels, things like that, and still have that usable. In addition, look at this. All the wires are run through the frame, so you're not going to see a lot of wires. You obviously have to deal with the wires in the front. That's unavoidable for the controller and the brakes running down to the motor and the controller housing in here. But we run them through the frame. Keep them hidden, keep them simple.
And in addition to that, every other element of this bike follows suit with what a beach cruiser has. 2.125-inch thick tires. Also the white wall tread, very traditional, very beach cruiser-esque. In addition to, ergonomic riding position, the wide handlebars for a really relaxed ride on your shoulders and your wrists. Everything about this just sticks to the traditional look and feel of a cruiser, which makes it great.
Because the other thing, too, is if you just want to ride it as a normal bike, feel free. You can pop the battery out easily on and off. You can actually ride without the battery. It reduces the weight, makes it super easy to ride. You also have seven speeds up here. So if you do decide to ride it as a standard bike, you're going to have the speeds to take you and ride. And you're not going to stick out like a sore thumb. You're not going to look like you're on some clunky motorcycle, things of that nature. My belief is if you buy an electric bike, you want to be on an electric bike. You want something stylish. You don't want big fat tubing and batteries. So the Around the Block sticks to that theory.
Also, what you're going to get is the ergonomic riding position. So let me pull this out to be safe here. When you're sitting on this bike, you're going to be able to be fully ergonomic: back straight, arms relaxed, hips right in line with the pedals. And it's super comfortable. Again, I'm seeing a lot of electric bikes now. They're straying away from traditional bike frame designs. With the cruiser, you get a super comfortable ride. Ergonomic, just easy on your body.
Lastly, the reason best electric beach cruiser, 500 watts of power. You've got your controller here. You can turn this on. What we've also done is a small screen and display. Some people have bigger displays on the handlebars. Again, we didn't want to take away from the simplicity and the tradition of the beach cruiser design. So we kept the display small and discreet. It doesn't hinder the design. You wouldn't even know it's here, but it gives you everything you need. You have your miles per hour, you have your pedal assist, and you can also track into the menu, see how far you've traveled on your ride, things like that. But again, simplicity. And that's really the name of the game for us when designing cruisers because you don't want to take away from the curves and the beauty of what the frame is, to begin with.
And with the 500 watts of power, you can have five levels of pedal assist. You can tackle really, really big hills. You don't even have to pedal. You can just do the throttle and that will take you on your own. So it gives you a lot of variability and options. Another reason why this is the best electric beach cruiser on the market, the color options. Two different frame styles, the high bar, the low bar, are traditionally called men's and women's. But obviously, everything's gender-neutral here. I'll show you the colors we have here. Then I'll tell you what else we have. So we've got pine melon, we've got mint green, we've got brick, and what we call lilac ginger. We also have a teal option available. I just want to make sure I scroll the website while we do this. We've got a matte black option available. We've also got a whole bunch of other colors. Let's cycle through them here. We've got cream coffee, sky marigold, which is a light blue. And then in the other high bar frame, we have some additional colors as well. So we've got the brick right here. And then we've also got what we call steel cloud, which is like a bluish-gray navy-ish. No other company's going to have that color selection. We do it here. Kickstand up, go ahead, and mount it. Now once you're on, there are two ways to get started. You can either do a pedal-assist or you can do throttle. I'm going to show you how easy it is. I'm just going to do a little throttle and we're off. And now when I start pedaling, it kicks in and I can adjust the resistance. Sorry, I can adjust the pedal assist. So if I just click this higher, you can see I really accelerate. I'll slow down and I can hit this, and then I can actually just turn it off to zero and believe it or not, now I'm just riding like a normal bike.
I'm going to go ahead and circle around here, come back. So right now I'm just riding. No electric. Can we go back in this direction? We're in the lovely sixthreezero headquarters parking lot. Now I'll go ahead and turn it back on. I'm going to click up to pedal assist. There we go. See that thrust? Super easy and we're off and running. Now I'll go ahead and just hit the brakes. We've got disc brakes, stop it really easily. And then I'll just do some throttle and we'll come back. And stops on a dime.
