The Best Electric Bike For Beginners | Beginner's E-Bike

All right. Today, we are going to talk about the best electric bike for beginners. So, stay tuned. Okay. We're going to get to the best electric bike for beginners, but before we do that, don't forget to hit subscribe so you don't miss out on any of our videos. We've got tips and tricks, ride alongs, lifestyle videos. It's a lot of fun. Check it out.

So the best electric bike for beginners, it is the Sixthreezero EVRYjourney. There are a few things that make this the best bike for beginners. First of all, it has a low step-through frame. So from the get-go, it's going to be easy to mount and dismount, and I'll show you what that looks like. It's easy to step over. I'm 5'1". I have short legs. So as you can see, it's going to be a lot easier than those e-bikes that have the higher top tube.

So in addition to the low step-through frame, we have forward paddling, which means that the pedals, unlike with most bikes where the pedals are directly under the seat, the pedals are moved a little forward so that you can get full leg extension without having to raise your seat too high. And by keeping your seat low, means that you can easily put your feet on the ground if that is something that's going to make you more comfortable on the bike. So if you need to quickly catch your balance, being able to keep your seat low is really going to come in handy. I know that I feel more comfortable when I can put my feet flat on the ground at a stop. So, that's definitely going to be key for beginners who are maybe not as comfortable riding a bike or want to be able to put their feet down for that extra security at any moment.

So the forward pedaling, definitely going to help with that. It's going to give you full leg extension, give you a comfortable riding position, which is going to be key if you're a new rider or if you're getting back on the bike. Being comfortable during your ride is going to be important for you to be able to ride longer distances and for longer amounts of time so that you can get used to it and just get more practice in. In addition to that, the bike is fully adjustable and customizable to your body. So adjust the seat height, adjust the handlebar height, adjust the handlebar tilt so that you have an upright riding position, no tension in your wrist or shoulders because you can adjust it to perfectly fit your body.

Also, we have a very easy-to-use simple display here, easy to switch between different riding modes. And we've got three riding modes. So the first is standard, meaning that the motor is completely off. You can actually take the battery out and use the bike as a normal bike, which is also a good option. If you're new to riding or new to riding an e-bike, you can get used to the bike as a normal standard bike without the motor at all. And then once you're comfortable riding that way, you can put the battery back in and test out the other two modes, which are one being pedal assist, meaning that as you pedal, the motor kicks in and gives you a little boost.

The pedal assist mode has five different levels. So again, great for beginners because you can always start in level one, get used to a little bit of a boost, and then as you get more comfortable, ramp it up all the way to level five, get you going faster. So at level one, at a steady, comfortable pace, I usually hit around nine or 10 miles per hour. But all the way to level five, you can reach 28 miles per hour. So it's good to have that variety so that you can gradually get used to the different speeds and going faster with your e-bike. Also, getting used to the handbrakes, it's a really good option to be able to switch between the pedal assist levels. Now, of course, we also have the throttle. The throttle means that you can use your e-bike without pedaling at all. So also great for beginners who just want to get used to the feel of a motor. Just hop on, hit the throttle, and you'll be coasting along.

All right. So let's take it for a ride and I'll show you what's involved with riding an e-bike from start to finish. So just a quick run-through. Kickstand up. Easy to mount the bike, easy to step through. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm 5'1", so easy for me. From the seated position, I can still put my feet on the floor, which is great just for my own reassurance and knowing that I can catch my balance at any moment. So from here, I'm going to turn the motor on. I always like to use the throttle to get going. I don't have to worry about the position of my pedals or anything like that. So let's go.

All right. I'm in pedal assist, level one. So as you can see, just with every downstroke, it gives me a little boost. Right now, I'm just coasting at eight miles per hour, keeping it in level one. That's a good place to start. But if that feels like too much or you don't want to start off with the pedal assist, you can just simply turn the motor off. Turning it off right now. And now it's a normal bike. So pedaling to move forward. And that's a great way to also get used to it. If at any point you want to stop, it's always a good idea to be familiar with your handbrakes. Right is rear. Left is front. And if you need to get off quickly, hit the brakes, feet down. Easy to dismount. You don't really have to worry too much about having a great balance with this bike. So, perfect for new riders.

So, that is what makes EVRYjourney Electric a great option for beginners. Easy to mount and dismount. Easy to stay balanced by putting your feet on the ground. Forward pedaling means it's comfortable. You can ride for longer, get used to riding. Three different riding modes. Everything you need in a beginner's electric bike. So check it out.
