An e-bike with a low center of gravity, you'll want to see. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today I'm going to show you an e-bike with an exceptionally low center of gravity. All right, I have the Relaxed body e-bike from Sixthreezero. Now, many riders like to have an e-bike with a low center of gravity. That way, you can be low to the ground, right? Being up high creates more risk of falling over. Just an overall scarier proposition, which I totally understand. Now, the Relaxed body has a super unique frame with an extreme forward pedaling design that puts it into a recumbent class. This is not a recumbent where you're fully lying down, but you can see that typically the pedals come right below the seat. In this case, the pedals are moved forward 13 inches. So you're pedaling out in front of your body, which allows you to keep the seat lower to the ground. Now, I don't have the seat all the way down, but if you wanted to, you could put the seat down where the top of the seat is 26 inches. So that is exceptionally low for any e-bike out there, especially a two-wheel e-bike that's not a full lay-down recumbent. Now, you can also see it has a low step over height here of 17 inches and a big, wide open frame that makes it easy to get on and off. In addition to that, from an electric electronic standpoint, you have a 500-watt rear hub motor and a 10.4 amp-hour battery. So you can go up to speeds of 20 miles an hour using the throttle or the pedal assist, and also a range of 50 miles, depending on how you use the pedals, pedal assist, or the throttle. If you use the throttle more, you get less range; with pedal assist, you'll get more range. Now you do have five levels of assistance that you can utilize. Five gives you the most. So if you constantly have it in five, you'll get less range as opposed to having it in one. Now, a Relaxed body also has a little bit of a longer frame. So the frame is stretched out to bring the center of gravity lower to the ground and allow for this forward pedaling design. It's comfortable. It's safe. It's easy to get on and off.
It is a great e-bike if A, you're unsure of being so high up, or B, if you have knee issues, hip issues, or anything like that, you'll be able to easily mount and dismount. Now, also the handlebars can be adjusted closer or away from your body so you can find the perfect riding position as well. And you can see here, I can bring them into my body. My back can stay upright. My feet are flat on the ground and I still get great leg extension when riding. It's a tremendously comfortable design that can be adjusted and customized to suit so many riders and different body types. That's the key. This can accommodate riders 411 up to six feet four, now with front and rear mechanical disc brakes. You also have a seven-speed derailleur on here. So you have seven gears that work in conjunction nicely with the pedal assist levels. Just an overall super unique, easy to ride, very comfortable e-bike with a low center of gravity. Also, if you want to see other videos of me riding this, you can check them out on our YouTube channel. I go out and put it to the test on the streets.
